Dr. Vivek Verma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Assam University, specialising in Bayesian modelling and biostatistical applications in public health. He holds an M.Sc. in Statistics (Gold Medalist, University of Burdwan) and a Ph.D. in Statistics from Gauhati University, where his research focused on Bayesian estimation and sampling theory in demography.

Through his collaboration with The Spine Foundation, Dr. Verma supports the design and statistical analysis of TSF’s multi-site research projects. His analytical expertise enhances the precision, reproducibility, and validity of data generated from community-based studies. Dr. Verma’s work helps TSF translate complex field data into meaningful insights that inform better program planning and clinical decision-making.
