One of the cases involved an intradural cyst affecting the spinal cord. Such a condition requires precise evaluation and surgical planning because of its location within the spinal canal and its relationship with the spinal cord. The second case involved dorsolumbar scoliosis, a spinal deformity affecting the alignment of the spine across the dorsal and lumbar regions. Treating complex spinal deformities requires careful assessment and an approach tailored to the individual patient’s condition.

Over the course of three days in Ranchi, the teams worked together on these two complex cases, bringing specialist spine expertise to Kanke General Hospital & Research Centre.
