Dr. Raghu Verma

My journey as a doctor has led me to serve rural, tribal, and urban poor communities. The stark healthcare disparities in these areas fuel my commitment to provide care where it's needed most. Access to basic healthcare often seems like a distant dream for many, yet I believe that every individual deserves attention and compassion. Engaging with these communities allows me to understand their unique challenges, from transportation barriers to cultural beliefs about health.

Point Of View

"Awaken Your Potential: Follow Your Inner Belief!"

I have harbored a deep desire to give back to society. My journey in medicine has always been guided by the belief that healthcare should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. Upon becoming a doctor, my primary intention was to treat those who cannot afford medical treatment.

After completing my fellowship with The Spine Foundation, I found the perfect platform to fulfill this ambition. I began actively participating in the foundation's camps, where we provide essential spine care to underserved populations. These camps not only allow me to treat patients but also raise awareness about spinal health in rural and tribal communities.

Today, I dedicate my weekends to this cause, offering my skills and knowledge to help those in need. It is incredibly rewarding to see the difference we can make in people's lives, restoring their health and improving their quality of life. This commitment to serving the less fortunate not only fulfills my professional goals but also reinforces my passion for helping others. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a healthier society.

We Are With You

"A message for society from The Spine Foundation"

The Spine Foundation aims to provide the best spine care to the rural, tribal, and poor in urban areas of India. It was Founded by Dr. Shekhar Bhojraj, who believes that there is a critical gap of service in health care for this segment of patients who understand their spine health care needs but are usually ill-equipped with information or economic resources to access quality services. The Spine Foundation provides free medical consultations, treatments, and surgeries for different spinal conditions. Indeed, such spinal conditions can affect quality of life pretty seriously.

The foundation services include direct medical care, education, and preventive awareness of spinal health, education of communities to take preventive measures, and building sustainable healthcare in remote areas. The organization aims at empowering the individual and community to take control of their spine health instead of just treating it. With caring service and expert medical interventions, The Spine Foundation envisions a future where all individuals can receive quality spine care.

Together, we can create a healthier future by ensuring that every individual, regardless of their background or location, has access to quality spine care. Let's work towards empowering the rural, tribal, and urban poor with the treatment and knowledge they need for a pain-free life.
